Report from last year is here. 17th - Middlewich Town Council Annual General Meeting and "Mayor Making" ceremony will be held in the Wych Centre, commencing at 6pm. 20th - 23rd - Middlewich Fun Fair on Market Field and Civic Car Park. The Car Park will be closed from 6pm on 18th May. June05th Mayor's Charity Concert at Middlewich Royal British Legion, contact Town Council Events' Organiser for more information, commencing at 7.30pm. 18th - 20th - Middlewich Folk and Boat Festival, with venues and times to be advertised on the official website of the festival, click here. 19th & 20th - Shaping Middlewich Activities/Exhibits at Town Wharf, 11am - 4pm, contact Town Council Events' Organiser for more information. NB There will also be a series of "Celebrating Cultures" events during June, primarily involving the Middlewich schools. Dates to follow. July17th & 18th - Middlewich Transport Festival on Market Field and Civic Car Park, both days from 10am till 5pm. NB Two other events in July with dates to be confirmed... Over 70s Summer Party at the Civic Hall Music and Dance at the Bull Ring August29th - Middlewich Companion Dog Show on Market Field from 11am NB There will also be another Music and Dance event at the Bull Ring September17th - 19th - Middlewich World War Two Weekend takes place on Market Field and other venues to be announced. Full programme will be posted here when available. 19th - Middlewich Mayor's Civic Parade and Service NB The Middlewich Annual Show will be held at the Civic Hall on a Saturday this month, correct date to follow. October29th & 30th - Middlewich Charity Beer Festival in the Royal British Legion November14th - Remembrance Parade and Service. Parade to and from Middlewich Royal British Legion will form up and march around 10am, with the Service at the Bull Ring Cenotaph, clearly marking the National Silence at 11am. December3rd & 4th - Middlewich Christmas Fayre and Markets, venues to be confirmed. NB The Annual Over 70s Christmas Party date is to be confirmed. Regular eventsTown Council surgery is looking for a permanent home as it is no longer held at Booseys, but will remain from 10amm till 11am. Town Council meetings are all held in public. Each month - except August, the full council meets on the third Monday of the month commencing at 7.15 and there is provision for public participation at the beginning of each full council meeting.
