Simon moved to Middlewich in December 1998. By May 1999 he was on the Town Council and May 2002 he was elected Town Mayor.

Simon has been married for 12 years and has a son, Ross, aged 4. Simon soon found his vocation in Sales and Marketing. He is now a Company Director dealing in automotive components.  Simon is both a founder member of Middlewich First and the Middlewich Vision and continues to contribute to the ambitious plans for Middlewich. He is currently chair of the voluntary-run Community & Youth Wych Centre in the Town.
