Dennis Mottram has been employed by the Town Council longer than the
clerk! As Sextant, Dennis is responsible for the Middlewich Cemetery that many visitors to the town are so complimentary about.
Ably assisted by Ian Murfitt and Eddie Hatton, their work goes on throughout
the year, and many of you enjoy sitting on the benches in summer enjoying these well kept
grounds, perhaps not even noticing Dennis, Ian and Eddie. Now you know who to
thank.
Dennis is the more distinguished of the three with his silvery hair.
Ian is the former rugby player and Eddie the lean one!
