Originally from the Stockport area, Mike lived in many parts of Cheshire before coming to Middlewich some 30 years ago, and settling here with his wife Lesley. Now a semi-retired Logistician, he lives in Waterside Way with Lesley and their two grown-up daughters Michelle and Louise.

Mike was one of the founder members of the Middlewich Folk & Boat festival, and is dedicated to seeing Middlewich's tourism, amenities and public transport grow.  He says that 'Middlewich is unique and has a wealth of unrealised potential'
