Moved to Middlewich with her parents and has lived in Middlewich for almost 20 years, attending Park Road Junior and Middlewich High.  At an early age, Emma became active in youth politics, eventually becoming the NW representative of the Charity UK Youth.  Emma also fought against cuts in the Cheshire Youth Service.

Having studied Business and Marketing at Leeds Metropolitan and Gronigen (Netherlands) Universities, Emma has worked in Marketing and PR since graduating.  She now works for Manchester Metropolitan University and continues to be involved in a wide range of local charities, including the Jigsaw project in Crewe.
