A mother of 3 adult sons, Dorothy was born and brought up in Middlewich and has been married to Jim for 30 years.  Dorothy went to school in Middlewich and trained as a Registered nurse at South Cheshire college of Nursing at Leighton hospital.

Dorothy is a Member of Middlewich First and was co-opted onto the Town Council after the untimely death of Ben Hart.
