A Scotsman who served in the RAF, then got involved with politics within weeks of leaving, Chalky moved to Middlewich in 1996 and has served on the Town Council since 1999. He is very focused on issues, especially ones that upset Borough and County council officers !

Chalky was been involved with the management of the Wych Centre from 1997 to 2004, and looks after numerous voluntary websites, including that of the Middlewich Against Dumping Group.
