The second Middlewich Farmer's Market on 22nd October 2005 was part of the first Celebration of Food and Drink Festival and culminated in the hugely successful Middlewich Beer Festival (the third consecutive). The Farmer's Market coincided with the Guides being filmed by CBeebies as they headed off to the NEC in Birmingham for a music event, therefore strangers travelling through the town must have - once more - wondered what was going on with so many people on the Bull Ring. Middlewich Cricket Club presentation evening took place on 15th October 2005. They have now outgrown the cricket club building - at least in terms of the size of the presentation - and had to hold their evening in the Masonic Hall on Holmes Chapel Road.
